Personality Pathology

CAPER research in the domain of personality pathology examines the core constructs of impulsivity and emotional dysregulation as they relate to the development of Borderline and Antisocial PD. This research is conducted largely in underserved settings and takes a decidedly translational approach with a focus on the interactive role of biobehavioral vulnerability factors and environmental adversity, with the goal of informing assessment and intervention approaches.
