Risk Taking Processes

CAPER research in the domain of risk taking processes focuses on the development of risk taking across the lifespan using novel behavioral paradigms. These efforts are highlighted by a ten-year longitudinal investigation that will further develop and test behavioral measures of risk taking as prospective predictors of HIV-risk behavior, considering the role of genetic and environmental variables both at the level of self-report and novel in-vivo assessment.
