Background Information
I was born and raised in Nigeria. I currently reside in Owings Mills, Baltimore. I graduated from New Town High School in 2006. I was accepted into the University of Maryland College Park Life Science scholars from which i graduated in the spring of 2008. I am currently a biology major and i intend to take on a neuroscience minor next semester. I plan to graduate in May 2010.
Research Interests
I worked at the National Cancer institute at the National Institute of Health last summer in the Lab of Immnunoregulation studying the effect of a protein,Centromere Binding Protein-B (CENP-B) on the regulation and activation of cells in the immune system. I am currently working with Dr.Daughters in the adolescent study at CAPER. The study observes how stress that adolescents go through influence their tendency of being involved in substance use. I am interested in being involved in research that involves areas that include but are not limited to neuroscience, clinical psychology and genetics.

Reading novels, having fun with family and friends.
