Background Information
I am currently a junior undergraduate student at the University of Maryland, College Park. I am working on a psychology degree. I expect to graduate in May 2011 with a B.A. in Psychology. I am currently working with Dr. Laura MacPherson on an adolescent distress tolerance study looking at how adolescents handle stressful situations. After graduation I plan to pursue further education in graduate school with the goal of becoming a licensed school psychologist. I hope to focus my work on childhood/adolescent psychopathology and therapeutic intervention
Research Interests
In addition to adolescent distress tolerance and psychopathology, I am interested in topics such as personality disorders, anxiety and stress disorders, and substance abuse.
Personal Interests
Outside of CAPER I enjoy reading, playing basketball, going to the gym and watching sports.
