Background Information
I graduated from the University of Maryland, College Park in December 2008 with a Bachelor of Science in Psychology and a minor in Neuroscience. Previously I worked as a Research Assistant at UMD for Drs. Eric Wish and Amelia Arria on the College Life Study at the Center for Substance Abuse Research, as well as at Yale University for Dr. Rajita Sinha at the Yale Stress Center. Currently I work as an RA for Dr. Carl Lejuez on research examining risky behaviors. I hope to attend graduate school to obtain my doctorate in Clinical Psychology.
Research Interests
I am interested in understanding the common mechanisms that underlie externalizing behaviors across different forms of psychopathology. I am also interested in the role of anxiety in substance use and impulsive behavior.
