He currently holds adjunct faculty positions at the Charleston VA (South Carolina) and the Yale Child Study Center. His research is
translational in nature using rigorous laboratory methods to understand real world clinical phenomena and to develop novel assessment
and treatment strategies. His research spans the clinical domains of addictions, personality pathology, and mood disorders, and he is
most interested in the common processes across these conditions. In conjunction with an active research program, Dr. Lejuez is very
committed to student research mentorship with his students publishing at a high rate, competing successfully for NIH fellowships,
and obtaining top clinical science internships. In line with this focus, he received the College of Behavioral and Social Sciences
Undergraduate and Graduate Mentorship Award in 2006.
