Background Information
I am currently a senior undergraduate student at the University of Maryland, College Park. I am working on a psychology degree with a minor concentration in public and community health. I expect to graduate in May 2009 with a B.A. in Psychology. I am currently working with Dr. Stacey Daughters on an adolescent distress tolerance study looking at how adolescents handle stressful situations. After graduation I plan to pursue an M.S.W. degree with the goal of becoming a licensed clinical social worker. I hope to focus my work on childhood/adolescent psychopathology and therapeutic intervention.
Research Interests
In addition to adolescent distress tolerance and psychopathology, I am interested in topics such as personality disorders, emotion regulation, anxiety and stress disorders, and dual diagnoses.
